In this video Jim Nix shows you how to add Custom Textures to your photos in Aurora HDR 2017. Jim covers how to create a Custom Texture layer and upload the texture file from your computer onto your photo. He uses a photo he took of the sun setting in Italy and adds a grungy rusty metal texture to it. Then, he makes changes to the texture’s opacity and shows you how to use your Editing Brush’s eraser to clean up parts of the photo where you may not want to have your texture overlaying. Jim also shows how to use the Blending Modes with textures and clicks through the different options to show how they vary. Finally, he makes a few edits to show how to utilize Aurora HDR 2017’s various filters while blending with textures.
