In this video Jim Nix shows you how to create stunning black and white HDR photos in Aurora HDR 2017. He uses a wide variety of techniques with presets, layers and filters. He explains how he often processes in color first, pushing the extremes in the color version, then takes the saturation out of the photo to make it black and white. He mentions that the unappealing extremes in color photos are not as visible and off putting in black and white, and actually make for a more interesting black and white photo.
