In this video Jim Nix shows you how to use Selective Coloring in Aurora HDR 2017. Jim creates a base image with a preset, then selects an Adjustment Layer to take the color out by sliding the Saturation slider all the way to the left, creating a black and white image. Then, he goes into Brush Eraser Mode, making sure the opacity is at 100% and adjusts his brush size. He then erases the black and white over one of the buildings in the photo, and reveals the beautiful color from the previous layer –– making one building vibrant with color against the rest of the black and white subjects in the image. Magic!
