HDR for Portraits in Aurora HDR 2017

In this video Jim Nix shows you how to use HDR for portraits in Aurora HDR 2017. He gives various techniques of toning down the HDR feel — especially when it negatively affects the subject’s skin. Jim also uses a preset and an Adjustment Layer to stack it with another preset, then uses the brush to clean up colors and textures he doesn't want affecting the skin. He also adds a Texture to the overall example photo and uses the Masking tool to make the Texture affect only the background around the person in his shot. When used in the right way, HDR can create interesting and expressive portrait shots.
